"Delayed Order - Lack of Communication"
Delayed Order - Lack of Communication. Before I placed my order, the website didn’t let me know that my lenses were out of stock or that there would be any hold-ups. I made my order on July 23rd, and after calling again, I was told that the lenses are finally being shipped today.

"Scam Alert, Stay Away!"
In February 2021, I ordered contact lenses for $300. A month has gone by, and my package is still MIA. They haven't given me my money back either. This company is the absolute worst. Their customer service is useless. It's been a total nightmare. Seriously, don't shop on their website. Total fraud.

"Ordering Woes Like Never Before..."
I've never faced so much hassle trying to buy something online before. A few days back, I attempted to get some contacts, but the order just wouldn't go through (it seemed like it was trying to do something, but the screen totally froze). I checked everything over and over (and I ain't exaggerating). I made sure I was in the US. The online support suggested I switch browsers. Seriously, that was their big fix.

I was using my iPhone, and after a struggle, I finally got to my cart (only after adding another item first that I planned to remove). But then, I couldn't select USD for my payment (it was all grayed out). I reached out to a live agent again, but he was clueless and couldn't help me sort it out - I ended up closing the chat since he wasn't responding.

Then my son tried his browser, and the 'Place order' button just wouldn't work at all. I threw in the towel.

Honestly, I'm starting to think this might be a scam.

I ended up ordering from Fresh Lens instead.

"Counterfeit Contact Lenses"
These are counterfeit contacts. The lenses don’t have any imprint and the serial numbers are bogus. I nearly lost my sight after waking up with my eyes all crusty and shut.

"Shipping Takes Forever!"
The website mentioned that the lenses would be sent out in 3-5 business days. However, it's now been 8 business days since I made my purchase, and every time I reach out, I'm told they’ll ship in another 1-2 business days! When I factor in the 2 weekends that passed, it’s looking like it’ll take nearly 2 weeks before they actually ship. Meanwhile, my credit card was charged right when I placed the order. Plus, if I decide to cancel, there’s a 3% fee involved!

"A Total Scam"
I placed an order for four boxes of contacts, including two boxes of multifocals and two boxes of colored lenses. What I got was just two boxes of the multifocal lenses, and none of the colored ones. When I reached out, Oscar, the manager, told me I had to show the packing invoice to figure out if the missing boxes were part of my order. Unfortunately, I tossed the packing invoice in the trash with the box and all the other Christmas stuff. I do have the electronic invoice and receipts, but without that packing slip, they won’t send me the colored lenses, which cost $71.96 each, adding up to $143.92. It feels like a total ripoff. When I asked to talk to Oscar's supervisor, he said he was the top guy and there was no one else to escalate to, which is just ridiculous. Their customer service is non-existent, and they seem to thrive on scamming U.S. customers. I’ve even filed a dispute with my credit card company to try and sort this out. Just a heads up, they’ve got one person answering calls (Dianne) and Oscar as the manager. Definitely a shady operation.

"Initially, I had my doubts about ordering..."
Initially, I had my doubts about ordering since contact lenses need to be super safe given they’re for your eyes. Plus, my eyes are pretty sensitive. But I thought, why not? I reached out to them to check if they’d send the lenses out the same day. I placed my order at 9 in the morning and received it by 10 the next day. Grateful it works just right!

"At first I was skeptical to order…"
At first I was skeptical to order because eye contacts should be very safe since its for the eyes. And i have this sensitive eyes , then i decided to give it a try and inquire about it, called them to confirm that they would ship the contacts on the same day. Ordered it at 9 am and got it by 10 am on the second day. Thanks it works perfectly fine.

"Total Waste"
Received my contacts in a drenched package. The stuff inside appeared to be soaked in some kind of chemical. Totally unusable. I was the fool who got pointless insurance. It doesn’t cover a thing. Customer support 'Kyle' promised to call back but never did. I reckon he’s running this gig out of his mom's basement or maybe in a van by the river. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

"Problems with the Website"

"AWFUL COMPANY"
AWFUL COMPANY! Prices are way too high and the coupon codes are misleading. The website is a hassle, making you enter your info over and over again.

And let me tell you, their customer service is the worst I’ve ever encountered. They’re just heartless and don’t give a hoot about keeping their customers happy. They refuse to acknowledge any issues and don’t bother to help out. I really don’t know who they hire for their support team, but they definitely need to make some changes. Or maybe this is just how they roll with their customers. It’s safe to say I won’t be buying contacts from Contacts Express ever again. I suggest you stick with the reputable online contact retailers if you want your stuff on time, in good shape, and with decent customer service. You won’t find any of that with Contacts Express. Shame on you!

"Not doing this again"
Once the glasses are on your face and they don’t fit, it’s already too late for a refund. Other brands usually send you a shipping label and will refund the full amount. It’s super frustrating.

"Ordered weeks back and still no shipment..."
I made an order weeks back and it still hasn’t been sent out. UPDATE—looks like they were just waiting on the 'kit' brand lenses for my prescription. I finally got my order, and while it took a bit longer, I’m really pleased. They’ve got the best prices out there!

"Awful experience from start to finish"
Had a really bad experience throughout the whole process. It was tough to get in touch with anyone, and when I finally managed to, they seemed clueless about their own products. I ordered some frames, only to discover two weeks later that they were out of stock, despite what I was told. I ended up wasting a lot of my time for nothing. Plus, their prices weren't even that good. Just a terrible experience all around with both the frames and lenses. I won't be dealing with this company again. Zero stars.

“Semi-legit? Is that a thing? If they don't mess anything up (3 complete orders before I had the horror of dealing with them) it appears fine. Shipping is slow. Just look at the negative reviews. They are correct. Any positive review are "got what I ordered". Well good. You should. That's a basic 2 out of 5 score. Doing the absolute bare minimum of what you are promising to do. Just avoid this company. Sooner or later you will have to deal with them.”

“It can take several attempts. They all have indian accents. Hard to understand. Never spoke to "kyle" (supervisor?) and never will. So not sure if you can understand him, or if it's his "english" name.”
